Position Summary

Provides technical support and assistance to the manager in specified aspects of the programs; prepares, maintains and submits appropriate grant-required paperwork; provides support services and generates all basic financial paperwork and tracking of information for assigned programs; researches, identifies, and applies for outside funds for program(s); acts as liaison between the program and outside funding agencies; networks with various CAP managers/supervisors and serves as liaison between donors/sponsors and CAP programs; serves as procurement specialist for assigned programs.

Education Requirements

Associate Degree or other education or training up to 2 years beyond the high school level in a job related field.

Experience Requirements

2-4 years of successful experience in a job related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

Physically able to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, stand, walk and lift up to 35 pounds (primarily supplies); sit for extended periods of time with extended use of video display terminal; have good visual acuity with corrective lenses and good hearing capabilities. Possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license, able to obtain and maintain CAP driving certification, and maintain a safe driving record.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment; sitting for extended period of time; some exposure to hot and cold temperatures, human emotions, communicable diseases, health problems, blood borne pathogens; and travel on main highways and secondary roads.
